VARITHERM
Highly versatile range of heaters with output power from 200W to 600W and temperature ratings of T3 and T4. Installation orientation can be either vertical or horizontal. The enclosure temperature should be controlled by the temperature switch TS..x, KR..Ex, XTx..., or the electronic controller TC..ExEN.
MINITHERM
This self-limiting electric finned heater is suitable for smaller enclosures. Temperature ratings can be either T3 or T4 to account for different application conditions. This type of heater is advisable if there is no flat surface available on the manifold. Despite it being self-limiting it is still advisable to employ a temperature controller TS..x, XTx..., with electronic controller TC..ExEN for a

Steam and Hot Water Heaters  
The use of "waste" heat is particularly economical for heating applications especially at low arctic temperatures. Intertec has decades of experience in the design and fabrication of such heaters and there is a range of heaters and controllers to chose from.
MINISTEAM
A small conduction heater for saturated steam or condensate. This is the most economical heating method
ALUSTEAM
A very flexible system made from stainless steel tube and Aluminium finned profiles. Can be adapted to cater for virtually any medium temperature and heating capacity
STEAMCONTROL
Inline temperature control valve with compression fittings. The set point is determined by the sensor head, which can be exchanged for different temperatures. The same valve type is available as a steam trap.
DHU, DHSU, DHLU

Convection heater for saturated steam or hot water may be utilised as frost protection heating. Various types available ex stock but Intertec can also produce customer specific models.

TS..x (CSA approved)
Compact contact style thermostat that is a reliable and inexpensive. Alternate mounting orientation allows for different control ranges within the fixed setting. Standard materails are aluminum or stainless steel. Optionally in almost any metal.
XTx.. (CSA approved)
Rugged, adustable filled system thermostat with local or remote mounted sensors. Two standard ranges and SPSP or SPDT switches. Anodized aluminum housing and bracket.
KR..Ex (CSA or CENELEC approvals)
Contact-style thermostat that is proven and inexpensive. Accurate control can be achieved by a sophisticated installation design where temperature feedback is used. The resulting temperature swings are only +/- 1 deg. C on the heated device
TC..Ex (CENELEC approved only)

Contactless electronic temperature controller with built-in sensor for the exact control of the temperature in housings. Virtually unlimited life as the controller is working contactless

Mineral-insulated (Mi-) Heating Cable
Mechanically robust heating cable designed to ensure long-term cable performance and reliability; suited for universal application due to the proven Intertec connection technique and the various types of control possible (EASYTRACE, TC ATEX D). The heating cable is usually supplied ready for connection

This mineral-insulated heating cable with stainless steel sheath (miVA) provides superior mechanical and thermal stability (up to 600 °C). EASYTRACE, an electronic controller with integrated connection technique, is one of Intertec's specialties and allows for easy design and installation of heating circuits for freeze protection
TC ATEX D

High temperature maintenance is essential for certain pipes and tubes to prevent, for example, condensation or solidification. This is not easy to achieve as the maximum temperature limits (Ex) must not be exceeded throughout the entire length.
Due to its adjustable temperature setpoint and heating power output per metre, this electronic temperature controller, designed for heating cables connected in series (e.g. miVA), provides easy solutions to difficult and challenging heating applications.

Self-limiting (SL-) Heating Band

Heating band for freeze-protection of piping and tubing, easy to design and to install. Combined with an adequate thermal insulation, self-limiting heating cables have been developed to protect the process medium in pipes, tubes and fittings from freezing, condensating and solidifying. To maintain the temperature at a defined setpoint a temperature controller with sensor can be connected in series with the heating circuit.
