Intertec cabinets and shelters are designed as sandwich constructions with inner and outer parts made from very strong GRP skins - or other materials such as Aluminium sheet or stainless steel - and a core of closed cell light weight and insulating PU foam. This construction ensures high strength and rigidity and is unaffected by the environment.
The design spectrum covers nearly every application case, from an insulated cable distribution cabinet through Analyser House or Radar Equipment Shelter to a complete - even multi-storey - utility building with attached office. Whether in aggressive industrial atmosphere or extreme environmental conditions of the arctic or the desert - there are nearly no limits.

| The BASIC series of light duty high quality cabinets have been developed for applications, where the wide variety of designs offered by the CLASSIC cabinet system is not required but the high quality standard of Intertec is of essence to the customer.

| Arctic Shelter |

| A very versatile system suited for even the most difficult specifications.
ARCTIC Shelters are constructed from sandwich elements with a minimum thickness of 40mm (~1,5'') (up to about 100mm ~4'') with excellent insulation properties, which are assembled to form a self supporting shelter with high mechanical strength.
Walls and roof can be manufactured in one piece up to a size of 6m x 3m (~19' x 10'). Seams as a potential leakage point can thus be reduced to the absolute minimum. Apart from the standard gel-coated polyester, other materials like aluminium or stainless steel sheet and/or even fire resistant sheet materials can be utilised to form the sandwich skin. Different materials may be employed for the inside and outside layers. The core material is usually a closed cell polyurethane foam of medium density and flame-retardant quality.
Wall and roof thickness and construction can be varied to customer requirements. This allows Intertec to design and build shelters which fulfil the most arduous specifications. . |
